DBF is thrilled to announce the appointment of Bailee Yarbrough as Executive Director. A Decatur resident with a Ph.D. in chemical engineering, Bailee transitions from leading large-scale industrial initiatives to stewarding one of the nation’s premier literary events. Her unique blend of operational expertise and community passion arrives just in time to guide DBF into its 2026 season and beyond.
