2026 POSTER

The DBF festival has a history of incredible posters and we’re excited to continue that tradition.
We really wanted to highlight in this year’s poster is the heart of our festival—DECATUR! Our team loves the inclusion of the magnificent statue of John Lewis, the return to the DeKalb History Center as a venue, and the beautiful new stage on the Square. We hope you’ll try to spot all of the Easter eggs hidden in the design.
Posters will be available for purchase at this year’s festival, October 2-3, 2026.
About this year's Artist
Vedika Mehra
This year’s designer is Vedika Mehra, an award-winning illustrator and visual designer based in Atlanta. Her work is rooted in storytelling and human connection, using visual metaphor, conceptual whimsical forms, and thoughtful narratives to turn the intangible into tangible.
Her practice spans editorial illustration, publishing, and self-initiated projects, including zines and animation.
Her work has been recognized by Society of Illustrators Los Angeles, American Illustration, Communication Arts and World Illustration Awards. She holds an MFA in Illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design and is an Assistant Professor of Art at Kennesaw State University.
