Sujal Bhargave

Sujal is a new board member of the Decatur Book Festival and the founder of Aventurine CPA & Financial Consulting, a boutique practice providing accounting and tax planning for small businesses and individuals. Outside of her work, she is an active member of the Decatur community who cares deeply about what makes this city worth living in -- good neighbors, local institutions, and the kind of conversations that happen when people gather around books. She has called Decatur home for years and lives here with her family. Joining the Festival board felt like a natural fit for someone who believes that a city's literary life is just as important as its civic life and who has learned that balancing the books and a good book are not entirely different pursuits.
