Sophia Griesenauer

Sophia Griesenauer is the organizer and host of the Atlanta chapter of Silent Book Club (SBC), the largest chapter within the global SBC network. The chapter brings readers together to enjoy a dedicated silent reading hour with books of their choice, followed by optional conversation and connection with fellow book lovers. The Atlanta chapter has received notable local recognition, including Atlanta Magazine’s “Best of Atlanta 2024,” and has been featured in outlets such as the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Atlanta News First, FOX 5 Atlanta, ATL Live, and CBS News Atlanta. At her day job, Sophia works in communications for a Fortune 500 company. She is a Georgia native, raised in metro Atlanta, and is a proud graduate of the University of Georgia where she earned her degree in journalism from Grady College. In her free time, Sophia is an avid reader, tennis player, and cat mom to siblings Millie and Finley. She is often found walking the Beltline, enjoying the connectivity it offers the city of Atlanta.
