Jill Joplin

Jill Joplin serves as the Executive Director of the DeKalb Library Foundation leading the efforts to raise awareness and additional funding for the DeKalb County Public Library. Additionally, she serves on the steering committee for the Library Support Network, a national network of library fundraising professionals, and she co-chairs the program committee for the International Public Library Fundraising Conference. She is the Immediate Past President of the Decatur Business Association. Prior to joining the library, Jill worked with KIPP Public Schools and KIPP Metro Atlanta. She began her career as a Teach for America corps member and also served as an English instructor with the Peace Corps. She and her husband Chris have lived in Decatur for more than 25 years, and they have college-aged twins.
