About

Two-time winner of the Southern Book Prize Silas House joins us with his new novel, The Tulip Poplars. This sweeping historical novel about hidden, forbidden love in the early 1900s asks how one can live a life that feels untrue . . . and at what point do you risk everything to make it feel true? House joins us to talk about faith and doubt, race and class, and how the story of an ancestor inspired his new novel—this session will leave you with a bigger heart.
