About
Mothers & Others For Clean Air is thrilled to showcase the benefits of electrification during Story Time on an Electric School Bus, a chance for kids and their families to experience how cool and quiet electric school buses are. Hop on board for a chance to beat the heat, listen to a story, and learn about the many health benefits of electric school buses.
Mothers & Others For Clean Air (MOCA) is a Georgia-based organization that aims to protect children's health by reducing the impacts of air pollution and climate change. One way MOCA protects children's health is by advocating for clean electric school buses. Exhaust from traditional diesel school buses can harm children's growth and is a major trigger for asthma and other respiratory diseases. Electric buses have zero emissions, so they offer a safer, cleaner, healthier ride that helps students feel and perform their best at school.
The School Bus will be open all day during the book festival and a special story time will be done from 4-4:30 PM.
