Denise Auger

Program Director

Denise Vivian Auger has been the Director of Programming for the Decatur Book Festival since 2022. During that time she was also working as the Adult Programming and Community Partnership Manager for the Gwinnett County Public Library System from August 2007 to 2023. She served as the Decatur Book Festival Retail Book Store Coordinator from 2007 to 2021. Additionally, she serves on the Georgia Center for the Book‘s Advisory Council.

Denise is the proud owner of three cats and about 2,000 signed first edition books!
