Heidi Hill

Heidi Hill has spent the past twenty-five years editing books, consulting writers on their books, and teaching students of creative writing. She worked as an editor at independent book publishers in Chicago before starting her editorial business in 2003. From 2017 to 2023, she was on the adjunct faculty at Lesley University’s MFA Writing Program, and she continues to teach writing workshops in the Atlanta area. A longtime Decatur resident, she has volunteered her time as a PTA president at Winnona Park and Fifth Avenue Upper elementary schools, and she has been an attendee, volunteer, and moderator at past book festivals. When Heidi is not working, she loves spending time with her family, being in nature, cooking, or reading a good book.
