About
Arkose is the dynamic duo of Noah Sills and Tad Adams, two multi-instrumentalists from Atlanta, Georgia. They first met in high school band back in 2012 and bonded over a shared love of hip-hop, jazz, R&B, and classic rock.
The name Arkose comes from a type of sedimentary rock, made up of different elements. That’s how they approach their music — a mix of sounds and styles that come together to form what they call their "Diamond Cut" sound.
Known for their vibrant acid jazz style and genre-blending energy, Arkose has become a staple in Atlanta’s music scene. From their weekly jazz jam residency at Smith’s Olde Bar to collaborations with rising artists like Jai’Len Josey, SWAVAY, Ben Reilly, Chase Shakur, Kennedy Ryon, Gus Glasser, and Eddie 9V, Arkose continues to shape a sound that’s all their own.
