Jessica Lindberg knows where Decatur’s secrets are buried. She grew up playing on the Winnona Park playground, attended Decatur High, and her wedding reception was in the Historic DeKalb Courthouse on the square. She moved to Rome in 2000, where she currently teaches at Georgia Highlands College. Jessica hosts a poetry reading series in downtown Rome and publishes here and there. Her poetry leans towards the gothic side of ars domestica. She and her husband live on a creek in Floyd County with their youngest son, backyard chickens, egg-fattened snakes, and blackberry thickets for days. Jessica has never made it all the way through Moby Dick.
