Waqas Khwaja

Waqas Khwaja, professor of English at Agnes Scott College, has published three collections of poetry, No One Waits for the Train, Six Geese from a Tomb at Medum, and Mariam’s Lament, in addition to a literary travelogue, Writers and Landscapes, recounting his experiences with the International Writers Program, University of Iowa, and several edited anthologies of Pakistani literature in translation. He served as translation editor and contributor for Modern Poetry of Pakistan, and has guest edited special issues on Pakistani literature for the Journal of Commonwealth and Postcolonial Studies and Atlanta Review.
