WALTER J KNAPP, a veteran of the United States Navy, graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, with a degree in history. He has concentrated his research on Native American studies for more than two decades. After twenty years in the world of banking and finance, he expanded his interests to include freelance writing. Walter has written numerous magazine articles covering aviation and aviation related topics as well as three novels. Just published is Through The Eyes of an Assassin, as well as Between Reveille & Taps and A Ranger’s Revenge. He instructs Native-American Culture at The University of North Georgia, Continuing Education Department, and is a member of the Georgia Trail of Tears Association, Western Writer's of America, and Booth Writers Guild.
