Kristin Leydig Bryant

Kristin Leydig Bryant began volunteering with dachshund rescue in 2002 and fostering dogs with back problems since 2004. Over the next few years, she became the “go-to” person at DREAM Dachshund Rescue who made surgery and crate rest decisions for foster dogs and took them to rehab. Kristin has coached hundreds of people in person and virtually on caring for dachshunds with IVDD. She lives in Atlanta with her husband Craig. She writes to prevent the unnecessary euthanasia of dogs diagnosed with IVDD. Even a dog that doesn't recover the ability to walk can have a joyful life.
