The 2025 Decatur Book Festival (DBF) Street Fair will take place on Saturday, October 4, 2025, in the vibrant and historic City of Decatur, GA. This festive event celebrates reading, writing, and creativity, and will feature a wide variety of exhibitors, including authors, poets, publishers, booksellers, writing groups, and unique businesses that align with the DBF mission. Exhibit Space Details
Exhibit spaces are available in 10x10 (100 square feet) and 10x20 increments for 2025. The primary exhibit area will be located on the historic Square in Decatur, with additional space potentially available on nearby streets (Clairmont and Ponce) and in the Decatur Square.
Pricing and Inclusions
The cost for a 10x10 exhibit space package is $515 and includes:

Two (2) folding chairs

One (1) booth ID sign with exhibitor name and booth number
Additional Items Available (for an extra cost)

Additional Tables: $35 each (8 feet)

Exhibitor Application Process
Due to high demand, exhibitor applications will be reviewed and considered by the DBF. If your application is accepted, you will be notified separately. Once accepted, payment must be made as soon as possible, but no later than July 31, 2025, to secure your spot. Please note: your exhibit space is not guaranteed until payment is received.
Weather Policy
The DBF Street Fair will take place rain or shine. No refunds will be issued due to inclement weather or an exhibitor’s decision not to attend.
Application Acceptance & Policies
The DBF reserves the right to reject any application deemed unsuitable or inappropriate for the event. All exhibitors must review and sign the DBF’s rules and regulations before completing their application.

What will exhibitors receive after registering?

Starting in August, accepted exhibitors will receive detailed information via email, including booth assignments, layout maps, installation instructions, parking information, and other event details.

Where will the event take place?
​
The main exhibit area will be on the historic Square in Decatur, Georgia. Additional spaces may be available on Clairmont and Ponce Streets and in the Decatur Square.​

Can I bring my own tent?​

The DBF provides a covered tent as part of the basic booth package.

Can two authors share an exhibit space?
​
Yes! If you're an author interested in sharing space, please contact us at exhibitors@decaturbookfestival.com.​

How many book titles can I display?
​
You may display as many titles as you'd like!​

Do I need to collect Georgia state sales tax?
​
Yes. Exhibitors are responsible for complying with all applicable federal and state tax laws and for collecting and remitting the required Georgia state sales tax. A state sales tax form will be provided.

When can I set up my booth?
​
Exhibitors will receive installation details in late August or early September. Set-up times will be assigned based on your booth number.

Can I sell non-book items?
​​
Food, beverages, alcohol, and tobacco products are prohibited for sale. However, exhibitors selling primarily books may be allowed to sell related items (such as printed materials). Any non-book sales must be pre-approved in writing by DBF management.​
​
What are the event hours?
​
The 2025 DBF Street Fair will take place Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Is on-site assistance available?​
​
Yes, volunteers will be available to assist exhibitors with unloading and loading materials. Information about this assistance will be sent in our exhibitor emails.​
