Help the Fugees Win Big Today!
Just a few miles east of Decatur, in Clarkston, a soccer team has been a source of hope, education, inspiration, and personal growth for a group of war refugee children. New York Times reporter Warren St. John brought the Fugees to national attention in his book “Outcasts United.” (Maybe you saw him at the Decatur Book Festival?) Help our neighbors continue their inspiring work. The Fugees are currently competing in a fundraising contest that could raise them an additional $10,000, an amount that would go a long way for their organization. Every donation, no matter how small, increases their chances of winning the big prize. But the contest ends today. Please have a look at their website to learn more about the amazing work they’re doing, then consider making a donation to them today.
