Though the Decatur Book Festival is a three-day event, the organization behind the Festival promotes literary and an interest in books in and around the Atlanta area all year long. In the Festival’s off season, we host a series of fundraising and literary events, bringing names such as Salmon Rushdie, John Lewis, Alice Walker, Roy Blount Jr., and Paula Deen to Decatur for readings and signings.
