Become an AJC DBF Member

Membership in the group that supports The Atlanta Journal-Constitution Decatur Book Festival ensures a seat at the table for year-round book festival events and VIP treatment at the annual celebration of books and reading on the Decatur Square Labor Day weekend.

The AJC DBF Round Table has evolved from the Literary Alliance, launched in 2008 to provide benefits for major festival donors. Annual membership in the Round Table is $1,000 per couple. In addition to reserved VIP festival seating, members receive an invitation to the festival launch party, reserved seats at festival events throughout the year, and invitations to private author receptions.

In previous years, the Literary Alliance has hosted private receptions with authors including Roy Blount Jr., Max Cleland, Paula Deen, John Lewis, and Salman Rushdie, and provided members with signed first editions of Roy Blount Jr.’s book, “Long Time Leaving — Dispatches from Up South” and Ted Turner’s book, “Call Me Ted.”
