2007 AJC Decatur Book Festival
In its second year, the Festival turned up the heat, adding more authors, two keynote addresses by Charles Frazier and Kinky Friedman, more activities, and a free Sunday night concert by Shawn Mullins on the square. - Natasha Trethewey, 2007 Pulitzer Prize winner for Poetry for Native Guard
- Norman Pearlstine, former editor of Time magazine
- Chuck Klosterman, pop-culture journalist, critic, humorist, and essayist
- Sherman Alexie, poet and author/screenwriter of Smoke Signals
- Diana Gabaldon, New York Times bestselling author of the Outlander and Lord John series
- Melissa Fay Greene, two-time National Book Award finalist; author of There Is No Me Without You, One Woman's Odyssey to Rescue Africa's Children
