In the Festival's inaugural year, 50,000 festival-goers were treated to a keynote address by political blogger and author Arianna Huffington, signings and readings by bestselling and award-winning authors, live musical acts, poetry readings, cooking demonstrations, children's activities, and a Sunday night fireworks show.
