Jonathan Franzen Jonathan Franzen on TIME Cover

Join us for the 2010 AJC Decatur Book Festival keynote address featuring Jonathan Franzen, the National Book Award-winning author of The Corrections. The address will be on Friday, September 3, 8 p.m. at Agnes Scott College’s Presser Hall.

Franzen was recently featured on the cover of TIME magazine—the first living novelist to be featured in ten years.

Franzen will be launching his new book Freedom at the Festival. Freedom is Franzen’s first novel since 2001’s The Corrections.

Franzen will be signing his books immediately after the presentation at the same venue. Books will be available for purchase. We ask that a limit of one outside backlist copy of his books be brought to the signing. There is no limit to the number of copies of Freedom purchased at the event, however.

Can’t make it to the event? Reserve your signed copy of Freedom at Eagle Eye Book Shop.

Photography is prohibited, including cell phone photography and video.

The event is free, but tickets are required and can be picked up at the Agnes Scott box office, Blue Elephant Books, Charis Books, Eagle Eye Book Shop and Little Shop of Stories.
