Perry Binder

Perry Binder is a smart-aleck college professor, recovering lawyer, and author. His uplifting book, Unlocking Your Rubber Room, delivers 44 hilarious lessons learned in the courtroom and classroom to help readers unlock their confining mindsets, or "rubber rooms."
Binder is a former litigation attorney and radio talk show host who frequently appears in the media, including USA Today, the Associated Press, The New York Times, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Financial Times, The Christian Science Monitor, Investor's Business Daily, AP Radio, CBS Radio, Court TV Radio, and ESPN Classic.
In 2008, Binder received the MBA students' Crystal Apple Teaching Award, as a Legal Studies professor at Georgia State University's Robinson College of Business. In 2005, he received Robinson's Teaching Excellence Award. In addition, he was given the Dade County Bar Association's Pro Bono Award for service to individuals unable to afford legal counsel.
Binder is a fun keynote speaker who enjoys interacting with diverse audiences on humorous business and legal topics. His seminars and classes have been described as "practical, enthusiastic, and hilarious." He is a member of the National Speakers Association, SHRM-Atlanta, and The Florida Bar.
Binder graduated from SUNY Buffalo Law School and Binghamton University. He resides in Atlanta with his wife, two children, and Boston Terrier.
