Grady Thrasher is enjoying his second career as a children’s author, having published two children’s books in the last two years. He is a graduate of both Georgia Tech and Emory Law School, and had his own law firm in Atlanta for more than 30 years. Thrasher, a Georgia native who grew up in small Southern towns, now resides in Athens and Watkinsville, GA, where he spends his time writing, gardening and playing with his grandchildren. At age four, he was featured in his father’s air show as “The World’s Youngest Pilot.” His fame extended to being chosen as runner-up in a Howdy Dowdy look-alike contest.
