Diana Gabaldon

Diana Gabaldon is the New York Times bestselling author of the "Outlander" series, which tells the story of Jamie Fraser, a Scottish Highlander from the 18th century, and his time-traveling wife, Claire. She won a 2006 Quill Award for her most recent "Outlander" novel, "A Breath of Snow and Ashes." She returns to the 18th century in her latest works, "Lord John and the Hand of Devils" and "Lord John and the Brotherhood of the Blade." Previous novels include "Outlander," "Dragonfly in Amber," "Voyager," "Drums of Autumn," "A Breath of Snow and Ashes," and "The Fiery Cross." She has also published one work of nonfiction, "The Outlandish Companion." She lives with her family in Scottsdale, Arizona.
