Julius Thompson

Julius Thompson is a published novelist after working as a copy boy with the New York Times and a sportswriter with the Philadelphia Bulletin. His first novel, A Brownstone in Brooklyn, is the first of a trilogy, and is available in bookstores and on the Internet. His second novel, Philly Style and Philly Profile, will be published soon. His third novel, The Sound of Midnight in Atlanta, is nearing completion.
While working as a sportswriter with the Philadelphia Bulletin, Thompson won the Associated Press Sports Editors Award in 1977. This award was a National sports writing award given for the third-best sports story written that year.
                       
Thompson has signed copies of A Brownstone In Brooklyn at the prestigious New York is Book Country Festival in New York City, the National Black Arts Festival in Atlanta, and at the Miami Book Fair International in Miami.

Currently, he works as a Language Arts teacher in the DeKalb County School System and a Creative/Writing Publishing instructor at Emory University.
