Catherine Clinton

Catherine Clinton is the author and editor of over twenty books, and holds a chair of history at Queen's University-Belfast. For her work in children's literature she has been given the Bank Street Poetry Prize. Her recent biography of Harriet Tubman was named one of the best books of the year in non-fiction by the Chicago Tribune and the Christian Science Monitor. She serves on the Presidential Lincoln Bi-Centennial Commission and is currently at work on a biography of Mary Lincoln.
